Mr. Tan
Retired music teacher from Gateway Academy
- 🇨🇦 Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada
- Gateway Academy
- 1997 to 2024
- English, French
I taught music at Gateway Academy in Sherbrooke from 1997 to 2024. Most days I taught teenagers, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Tan
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tan: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
