I teach social studies at Jakarta Barat Boys' School in Jakarta Barat since 1990. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
