Mr. Tamura
22 years teaching French in Tokyo
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Tokyo Grammar School
- 2013 to 2021
- Japanese, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Tamura
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Tamura: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me French in 2016 at Tokyo Grammar School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard!
