Mr. Tamang
20 years teaching art in Kathmandu
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- Kathmandu Academy
- Since 1990
- English
I teach art at Kathmandu Academy in Kathmandu since 1990. Most days I teach Year 9, and I play music while people worked.
Over the years I've had 1,840 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Tamang
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
