Mr. Takahashi
Home economics and special education teacher, Tokyo
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- 1996 to 2006
- Japanese
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mr. Takahashi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
