Mr. Takagi
28 years teaching art in Shinjuku

For 30 years I have been the art teacher at Kingsway Technical College. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Takagi
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Takagi: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
