I taught biology at Jakarta Girls' School in Jakarta from 2003 to 2012. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never turned anyone away.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Sutanto
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
