Mr. Susanto
30 years teaching special education in Makassar
- 🇮🇩 Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia
- Makassar Primary School
- Since 2008
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Susanto
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Susanto: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
