Mr. Suryadi
30 years teaching drama in Jakarta Selatan
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Selatan Girls' School
- 1983 to 2016
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,390 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mr. Suryadi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
