For 31 years I was the environmental science teacher at Phoenix Boys' School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Steyn
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
