I teach special education and history at Frangipani Grammar School, Sandton. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Steyn
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Steyn: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
