Mr. Stepanov
Social studies teacher at Odesa High School, Since 1984
- 🇺🇦 Odesa, Odesa Oblast, Ukraine
- Odesa High School
- Since 1984
- English, Ukrainian
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Stepanov
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Stepanov: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

I was in your Grade 4 class in 2021. You believed I could do it before I did. Thank you again.
