Mr. Steele
Teacher at Beacon Public School, loves drama
- 🇺🇸 Springfield, Illinois, United States
- Since 1983
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 43 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember that terrible school play.

What gifts mean to Mr. Steele: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me drama in 2014 at Beacon Public School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Greetings from Barcelona.
