For 29 years I have been the English literature teacher at Mandurah High School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
