Mr. Ssemwogerere
Home economics and biology teacher, Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Lotus High School
- 2006 to 2018
- English, Swahili
For twelve years I was the home economics teacher at Lotus High School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 350 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Ssemwogerere
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ssemwogerere: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
