I taught computer science at Pioneer Girls' School in Dar es Salaam from 2011 to 2024. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
