Mr. Spencer
Religious studies and English literature teacher, San Jose
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- Beacon Grammar School
- Since 2007
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Spencer
If you were in my the youngest children class, you probably remember that terrible school play.

What gifts mean to Mr. Spencer: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
