Mr. Son

Taught art at Gwangju Primary School

I taught art at Gwangju Primary School in Gwangju from 1994 to 2019. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mr. Son

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
