For 29 years I have been the physical education teacher at Dortmund Secondary School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 670 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Sommer
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
