Mr. Sommer
Accounting teacher at Hope High School, Since 1981
- 🇩🇪 Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
- Since 1981
- English, German
Hope High School is my second home. I teach accounting there since 1981, mostly the final-year class.
Over the years I've had 990 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Sommer
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Sommer: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
