Mr. Sombat
History and statistics teacher, Chiang Mai
- 🇹🇭 Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, Thailand
- Chiang Mai High School
- 1981 to 2002
- English, Thai
Chiang Mai High School was my second home. I taught history there from 1981 to 2002, mostly the youngest children.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Sombat
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Sombat: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
