I taught art and computer science at Lotus Academy, Tampa. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Snyder: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
