For 33 years I have been the economics teacher at Phoenix Secondary School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Mr. Smith: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
