Mr. Smirnov
Drama and computer science teacher, Kharkiv
- 🇺🇦 Kharkiv, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine
- 2006 to 2022
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Smirnov
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Smirnov: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
