Mr. Smirnov
Retired home economics teacher from Kharkiv High School
- 🇺🇦 Kharkiv, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine
- Kharkiv High School
- 2003 to 2011
- English, Russian
Kharkiv High School was my second home. I taught home economics there from 2003 to 2011, mostly Grade 8.
Over the years I had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Smirnov
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Smirnov: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
