Mr. Siregar
22 years teaching mathematics in Makassar
- 🇮🇩 Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia
- Harbor Academy
- 2005 to 2015
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
More about Mr. Siregar
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me mathematics in 2008 at Harbor Academy. I still remember the long bus ride home.
