I taught religious studies at Fairview Boys' School in Kadıköy from 1986 to 2010. Most days I taught Year 9, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
