I taught special education at Nuremberg Technical College in Nuremberg from 1998 to 2010. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Simon
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Simon: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
