Mr. Simmons
37 years teaching home economics in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Meadowbank Public School
- Since 1980
- English
I teach home economics and mathematics at Meadowbank Public School, Los Angeles. I learn every name in the first week.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Simmons
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Simmons: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
