I teach drama at Oakwood Middle School in Dar es Salaam since 2011. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Simiyu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Simiyu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me drama in 2013 at Oakwood Middle School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
