Mr. Simiyu
24 years teaching design and technology in Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Parkside Public School
- Since 2001
- English, Swahili
For 25 years I have been the design and technology teacher at Parkside Public School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Simiyu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
