I teach art and geography at Mount Pleasant Grammar School, Rio de Janeiro. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,200 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Silva
If you were in my Year 10 class, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
What gifts mean to Mr. Silva: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me art in 2015 at Mount Pleasant Grammar School. I still remember the end-of-term party
