Mr. Silva
22 years teaching music in Duque de Caxias
- 🇧🇷 Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Duque de Caxias Grammar School
- 2017 to 2025
- Portuguese
Duque de Caxias Grammar School was my second home. I taught music there from 2017 to 2025, mostly Year 9.
Over the years I had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Silva
If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Mr. Silva: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

I'm a software developer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from São Paulo.
