I taught computer science and environmental science at Malang Middle School, Malang. I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 1,390 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Siahaan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Siahaan: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
