For 35 years I have been the special education teacher at Jakarta Public School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,120 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Siahaan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Siahaan: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me special education in 1998 at Jakarta Public School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
