36 years teaching biology in Sacramento
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Pioneer High School
- 1981 to 1998

For 17 years I was the biology teacher at Pioneer High School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Mr. Shim
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me biology in 1997 at Pioneer High School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.

You taught me biology in 2000 at Pioneer High School. I still remember the long bus ride home. Thank you again.
