I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 2,680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Shi
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Shi: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
