I taught computer science at Embakasi High School in Embakasi from 2000 to 2018. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never once raised my voice.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Shayo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
