Mr. Shayo
26 years teaching history in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Frangipani Girls' School
- Since 1990
- English, Swahili
For 36 years I have been the history teacher at Frangipani Girls' School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Shayo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
