Mr. Setiawan
English literature and environmental science teacher, Malang
- 🇮🇩 Malang, East Java, Indonesia
- Gateway Academy
- Since 1981
- English, Indonesian
For 45 years I have been the English literature teacher at Gateway Academy. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,890 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Setiawan
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Setiawan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
