I teach English literature at Iztapalapa Girls' School in Iztapalapa since 2003. Most days I teach teenagers, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. Over the years I've had 1,360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mr. Serrano: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
