I taught home economics at Our Lady of Peace Grammar School in Greensboro from 2011 to 2023. Most days I taught teenagers, and I never turned anyone away. Over the years I had 470 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Mr. Serrano

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Serrano: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
