I taught history at Kharkiv Grammar School in Kharkiv from 1988 to 2021. Most days I taught Grade 6, and my door was open at lunch.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Mr. Sergeev
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
