Mr. Senanayake

16 years teaching art in Colombo

  • 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
  • Since 2003
  • English, Sinhala
I teach art at Colombo Middle School in Colombo since 2003. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Mr. Senanayake

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Senanayake: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
