Mr. Senanayake
25 years teaching chemistry in Dehiwala
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Dehiwala Middle School
- 2011 to 2021
- English
For ten years I was the chemistry teacher at Dehiwala Middle School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Senanayake
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
