I teach chemistry at Saint Petersburg Middle School in Saint Petersburg since 1986. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Mr. Savchenko
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Savchenko: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
