Mr. Sauer
19 years teaching history in Leipzig
- 🇩🇪 Leipzig, Saxony, Germany
- Leipzig Grammar School
- Since 2005
- German
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 21 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Sauer
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Sauer: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me history in 2017 at Leipzig Grammar School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
