Mr. Sato
35 years teaching art in Tokyo
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Tokyo Secondary School
- Since 1997
- English, Japanese
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Sato
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Sato: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
