Mr. Sarker
Physics and economics teacher, Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka High School
- 1988 to 2002
- English, Bengali
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 690 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Sarker
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Sarker: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me physics in 2011 at Dhaka High School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand! Truly.
