Mr. Sarı
Retired early years teacher from Kadıköy Middle School

I taught early years at Kadıköy Middle School in Kadıköy from 1985 to 1993. Most days I taught primary school children, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Sarı: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
